Dr. Burt Cagir is the Executive Director of the Donald Guthrie Foundation overseeing the management of all research activities, administratively supporting Clinical Research, the Institutional Review Board (“IRB”), and the LEAP testing service.
The Donald Guthrie Foundation has oversight responsibility for all research activities conducted within The Guthrie Clinic or by Guthrie employees, regardless of who does the work, where it is done, or how it is supported. The IRB office (570-887-4885) must be consulted before conducting human subjects research or before obtaining an investigational product for a patient through expanded access.
